These terms govern your use of the Burner Mason website and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them — they're written to be clear.
1. Who we are
Burner Mason ("we," "us") is a handmade lip and hand care maker based in Washington State, USA. Contact: help@burnermason.com.
2. Our products
Everything is handmade in small batches from natural materials. Because of that, slight variations in color, scent, texture, and appearance between batches are normal and are not defects. Our products are cosmetics intended for external personal care only. They are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
Sensitivities. Natural ingredients can still cause a reaction in some people. We recommend a patch test before first use. If you have allergies or specific concerns, email us about ingredients before ordering, and stop use if irritation occurs.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order, and we may limit or cancel quantities. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full. In the rare event of an obvious pricing or description error, we may cancel the affected order even after it's placed, and refund you.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; by paying, you authorize the charge for your items plus any shipping and tax shown at checkout. You're responsible for any taxes not collected at checkout where applicable.
5. Shipping and delivery
We ship within the United States. Shipping is free on orders of $35 or more; for smaller orders, live carrier rates are shown at checkout. We pack and ship by hand as quickly as we can, and you'll receive tracking by email once your order is on its way. Delivery estimates from carriers are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession; if a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we'll make it right.
6. Returns and refunds
If something arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, email us within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you. For hygiene reasons, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original condition within [30] days of delivery. Email help@burnermason.com to start a return; we'll explain where to send it. Original shipping is non-refundable unless the return is our error.
7. Acceptable use of the site
Please don't misuse the site — no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to it or its systems, and no unlawful use.
8. Intellectual property
The site's content — text, design, and the Burner Mason name — belongs to us and may not be copied or used without permission.
9. Disclaimers
The site and products are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Because our products are cosmetics, we make no medical or therapeutic claims, and we're not responsible for reactions caused by individual sensitivities where the product was used as intended.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Washington], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law gives you other rights.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change and the current version will always be posted here. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
