This policy explains what information Burner Mason ("we," "us") collects when you visit our site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and honest, the same way we make everything else.

Who we are

Burner Mason is a small, handmade lip and hand care maker based in Washington State, USA. You can reach us any time at help@burnermason.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and the items you bought. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and sent directly to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

Information stored in your browser. We use your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart and your light/dark theme choice. This stays on your device; it isn't an advertising or tracking cookie, and we don't use it to follow you across other sites.

Information collected automatically. Our site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts; like most web hosts and content networks, these providers may receive standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics at this time.

How we use your information

To process, pack, and ship your order, and to buy your shipping label
To send order confirmations and shipment tracking
To respond to your questions and provide support
To keep records and comply with tax and legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed to run the shop, with service providers acting on our behalf:

Stripe — payment processing
Shippo and the shipping carriers it connects to (e.g., USPS) — to rate and ship your order
GitHub Pages — website hosting; Google Fonts — fonts

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK) you may have additional rights. Just email help@burnermason.com and we'll take care of it. You can clear the cart and theme data we store in your browser at any time by clearing your site data.

Children

Our site and products are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reputable providers (like Stripe) and reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above and post the new version here.
